By any chance, you see this on Geekologie?  This looks like something that guy would post.

Ariel might be my favourite princess, but only the last two rings don't make me feel sick just looking at them, frankly.

Ariel is my favorite too. I grew up really self conscious about my red hair, super short height, pale skin and glasses. I was a really big dork for a long time. She made me feel less alone. I used to dye my hair for years, jr high and high school. I used to try to tan, wore contacts. Pretend to be someone else. Hahaha it's crazy when I think about it now. I was so prude guys gave me anxiety. We go to the movies in a group and my "date" would look at me (you know trying to get me to look at them so they could try to kiss me) and I was freeze and stare at the screen. Petrified. I got bullied, but I thought so little of myself I guess I didnt see it as bullying. Girls would tell me I was ugly, boys would refuse to sit next to me on the bus and in class. And vocally resist if the teacher moved them there. "I don't want to sit next to her". I just stayed quiet the whole time. Haha Im still really awkward, but I care less now.

Ariel club, yay. I always related to her well too. Where a lot of people see her as spoiled I see myself in her - a struggling little fish with a control freak father who refused to believe that not every person of a different race is evil. I only wished that I could be as bold as she was. No one ever told me I was ugly, it was all me. I could see that they all wanted me to be someone I wasn't and I hated myself for putting on a fake face and obeying. Perhaps most people grow into whatever role they pretend to be for years, but it scarred me instead. I'm still just trying to get my legs to stay under me while I walk my own path.

It was on /r/pics this morning, so I would guess that's where the Chief found it.

Some of them would be nice, as long as they don't have the sappy inscription.

And why is Pocahontas and the Irish girl the only ones with a copper ring? Racist as shit, ya'll. I don't see Tiana with an obsidian ring. But the Native American and the one with the burnt Irish skin need a ring to match their tone?

Also, I don't think I would get a girl an Ariel ring. Not that I hated the movie, but the original Andersen version isn't exactly romantic.

Also, also, Tangled is my favorite movie, but Belle is best girl. Bibliophile? Fuck yeah. Read the Brother's Grim to me, sexypants.

I'm like, the only kid of my generation that I know that didn't give a toss about Ariel. Belle was my girl until Rapunzel. <3

I found these on reddit. >.>

I thought they were pretty neat. Apparently it's a real thing too, and not just artist renders.

I'd probably get a three gem engagement ring to form the Triforce over a gold wedding band.  Like an Emerald, a Sapphire, and a Ruby triangularly cut and placed to form the Triforce.

Yeah, they're very flashy, but I guess fitting for a princess.

That's a pretty neat idea.

I have a million of 'em.  I save the really good ones for my stories.

But, let me tell you, not liking the Zelda games would be a deal breaker for me.

Depending on how big you want the stones, and the ring's metal (Stirling silver, platinum, white/yellow/rose gold etc) you're looking at quite an expensive piece of jewelry, with all those stones. Ruby is very expensive, followed by emerald. Sapphire depends on the colour, blue sapphire is generally most expensive, but you can substitute that with Blue Topaz (saving a few G) and hope she doesn't notice.

Might want to check the prices first. >.>

I'm pretty good when it comes to buying my partner jewelry. I've done the research on engagement, anniversary jewelry etc etc so relatively prepared (I hope).

This morning I checked out the store for these rings and picked one I'd buy if I were to actually get one, tweaked it a little. It's over US$9,000 cheaper with a Topaz center stone than Sapphire .. 0_0

My darling Cinderella, will you be my bride.

Make sure your future life partner knows that.

Lucky man.
