I mean, there's a slight worry that it may go BL on me but judging from who's making it, I'm hoping it'll be genuinely funny.

It's not listed as shounen-ai so I'm reaaally hoping. "Love making" is what they seem to call the transformations from what bit of Japanese I can understand so they'll probably make fun of it but not go full on BL? That's my hope anyway.

Yeah it's from the same director as Gintama and Ixion Saga DT so at the very least it should have some good gags in there.

If it goes in a spoof of Sailor Moon direction, then it could be funny. I honestly thought that monthly Nozaki-kun show would be a pretty boy by the title alone, but it was the best thing last season.

I keep seeing this on tumblr, and tbh I'm not sure I wanna watch it - Tokyo Mew Mew was enough to keep me away from magical transformations for ages. Ugh.. to watch, or not to watch. 99% sure I'd be barfing rainbows after watching.
BL in this kind setting would creep me out, so I'm with you on that one though.
Haha yeah you gotta like the magical girl genre to enjoy this anime I think. It'll be a good parody.

It's written by an American but drawn by a Japanese artist. It was an online manga that got a published two-volume release when it was done.
