I thought since a lot of people are interested in game development here, I'd show you guys this.
I've moved on from Subway, and now I've found a cooler, more relevant part time job of teaching children how to make video games using a tool called Stencyl. Stencyl is cool tool where you can create 2D video games easily. I've been playing around with it, learning how it works, to hopefully take over the job in the next couple weeks, and I'm just having so much fun with this. Along with Sprite Creator, a tool to make custom sprites, you can make all sorts of 2D games -- although the kids mostly make platformers. I wish 12 year old me knew about this software, it's really unleashed the kid in me to play with it. I mean now with some effort I could program my own games but I had so many ideas as a kid that never got developed because I lacked the skills I have now.
