With the new system, it mainly boils down to how well a player can use a specific class

so, technically, Kenny is a beast of a DK tank.

vengeance got a straight out nerf a week or two ago. it was in a hotfix, i think.

funnily enough, it was partially because blood dks were doing too much dps in a raid environment.

raid environment nothing. i was pulling 10-15k more than most of the dps's that didnt suck in some dungeons.

personally i dont see a problem with that >.> in most fights only one character is going to REALLY benefit from vengeance so its not like it was endangering the group mechanics. nearly everyone is still going to be a dps.

plus i thought that was one of the things they wanted in mop was the tanks being more damage capable rather than being JUST a tank.

wouldn't surprise me, at low levels I'm seeing the Monk Tank pull most dps by a large margin

no, they want tanks to be active in their mitigation. that's why they're changing warrior/druid/pally some. they're not as active to mitigate as a dk or monk, but now it's not just stand there and hit buttons for five minutes like before (exaggeration). people complained. dps need to see themselves at the top of the charts. blizzard said they were mostly fine with tank damage, since more gear would improve the dps greater. but then they also scaled back vengeance a bit.

at low levels, any tank will generally be top dps. most tanks get earlier access to aoe moves >.>

nah, they haven't touched dks explicitly. just tanks in general. pallies were doing good damage, too.
if anyone's getting nerfed any time soon, it'll be arms warriors and bm hunters.

I got JC to 585, everything is a one day CD now.

I need to find someone that's 525 with inscription, leatherworking, fishing and archaeology for the guild achievement still. >.>

just your research. you can just do one and cut the gem you learn to hit 600. i really need to get my hands on gems to do that, i haven't done but one since i got to ghostlands. that's what happens when jcs bitch about needing to do a daily to earn tokens to buy their patterns. NOOOOO, they wanted to wasted hundreds of gold in mats for each recipe like the other fucking professions, and it's still on a cooldown. but wait, then you can wasted something even more valuable (spirit) to learn it without a cooldown.
