WoW is selling their items directly to us, just not in a straightforward/mechanic-breaking way

Essentially, it's for the ultra-rich/lazy, you can get raid gear without having to do dungeons

Some people are thinking it's going to be Pay-to-win, like some other MMOs, but seeing as it's using in-game gold WoW isn't really charging anything but free time

yeah, BMAH is a gold sink. it's all blizzard controlled and just removes gold from the economy. there won't always be MoP raid quality epics up as some people keep harping on about, but they do pop up from time to time. as well as rare pets and mounts. players can only bid. and if someone was so inclined, they could bid gold cap and prevent another bidder.
