in nagrand, he was a whiny brat because he thought he couldn't compare to his father. thrall bitch slapped some sense into him and he grew balls. in northrend, he went a little too far with his new found confidence and became a hot headed general, but Saurfang was there to keep him in place. after the loss of his only son to the Lich King, Saurfang has all but disappeared sadly. and for some damn reason Thrall looked at Garrosh like a drunk, horny man at last call and said, "Eh, close enough" and made him warchief.
