Libre Office - full suite of office software, including excellent apps for text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases.

GIMP - Powerful and flexible, open source image editor GIMP is as close to Adobe Photoshop as you can get without opening your wallet.

I find the graphics software Inkscape very useful and working well. For accounting in freeware i use Wave and for paid software tool that i have for accounting is QuickBooks. I can generate invoices, follow up with pending customer payments, Look after the Payroll with all in one QuickBooks Hosting Solutions.
