Me specifically? I play with my mom and dad's 3DSs when I hang out with them. I own nothing.

 

And I can see where you're coming from, but the alternative (being unlocking stuff through 60+ hours of bullshit) is not attractive. Maybe I'm just greedy and want the characterses, Precious.

 

I miss Super Monkey Ball. I've played the second one and only once--for eight hours, two friends and I raced ONE RACE. Longest course plus max laps. That was a great afternoon.

@Sympa I see what you mean, but I just love smash so much playing against lvl 9 bots and with friends who go to competitions and stuff is reallly fun for me. I could do that all day. So when you say (being unlocking stuff through 60+ hours of bullshit) that bull shit is insanely fun for me tbh, and it makes me a better player. I just don't understand why people like playing stuff on the easiest difficulty just to complete the game/ unlock everything because playing an easy game is more boring to me than having to spend a ton of hours on a hard game.

No, that's not what I meant. I meant if like, you unlocked characters by like, Destroy the Targets and Home Run Thingy. Like, stuff that has little to do with the game. Hours of playing the game to unlock stuff so you can play more game is 100% acceptable.

 

And yeah, everything pre-unlocked isn't as much fun. I had a good time unlocking stuff for the library's Mario Kart 8. I got so excited whenever I got someone new. I was like, "HI, TOADETTE! I MISSED YOU!"

Yeah but both those game modes were some what challenging. So I thought it was fun. I just think they should have split it up, like 50% of the characters by just playing vs. and stuff and 50% of the characters actually doing something hard. I guess it comes down to preferences ya know. But it's whatevers. Not like they are going to change anything, and it is what it is. I still think is fun in any case.

And, yeah, I guess I just have a thing with handhelds. They're weird to me despite growing up with a Game Gear.

Well, there's your problem.  The Game Gear wasn't really a handheld game.  It ate batteries like the Klumps at a buffet.

And it was still a legit handheld; you just needed an endless supply of AA's, or the A/C adapter.

So who's your favorite charcters. So far like Lucina, Captian falcon, toonlink, fox, pac man. I havent played to many others ill know my mains by the end of the week for sure though.

Little Mac all the way, with some Ike (my main in Brawl,) Greninja, Mega Man, and Villager thrown in.

 

So, DLC characters, who do people want added (that are completely new)?

 

As per third party characters, here's what I think will happen:

 

1)  Rayman

2)  Simon Belmont

3)  Bayonetta

4)  the Dig Dug guy

5)  Shovel Knight (a man can dream)

I'm shit at the game itself, but oh well. I managed to win a Smash Run match despite my stats being like 1/3rd of the others xD

Is anyone still playing Smash Bros on the 3DS or Wii U? There's a Smash Bros convention this week in Virginia. I'm not that good but it's been months since I've touched either game and would like to at least put up some sort of fight.

I play it occasionally on my 3DS, I've gotten pretty good against bots with Ike, but there's a problem with the WIFI for my 3DS, I get tons of lag when trying to play online with people.

 

I also play Link, Falco, Charizard, and occasionally shulk.
