Wow, how informative! I'll be sure to give YouBeamTV a 10 out of 10 rating. They weren't kidding about it being a game changer, not only can I watch my favourite shows with ease but all my friends and colleagues think I'm some sort of space man from the future for owning this. Thanks YouBeamTV now I can sleep at night and I no longer desire to eat the flesh of children that wander to close to my property!

Hey guys---Totally not a spambot. Sorry--that probably sounded super pitchy. (We are just starting our marketing efforts and it was my first post ever with this forum...well, to be honest, my first post ever marketing this product.)

My name is Stephanie. I am working for YouBeam. I have my own company (www.hackerfreelancing.com). Hope this makes me seem a little more legit. :)

Anywayyyyyyy, we are looking for people that would truly be interested in testing this out and helping us work out any kinks and help us promote it.

I think if you'd stayed around and been a part of the community people would have given it a shot and been eager to help you out. The fact that your first post is an advert kinda puts a stop to that though.

Hi Gol---I am completely new to forums, so I didn't know how long it would take to receive a response. My first post was probably way too much. But, I guess that's part of the learning curve.

That's fair enough, it's generally poor form to join a forum just to promote a product though, for future reference. We have authors, patch makers and t-shirt sellers to name but a few professions on Nerd Forum and all of them are regular posters and friends of the community. :)

Thanks for the tips! :) I will hopefully be accepted into the community. Plan to start making a presence. I really would like to get your opinions on the product lol we are just starting and have the browser and the device and have very little feedback from anyone that knows anything about technology.

Yeah, as Gol says, it's pretty bad to just log on to advertise. A forum is a community, and it's generally not appreciated for someone to burst into said community screaming BUY ME BUY ME or things to that effect. Sort of like those people who sell stuff on the street, or try to talk you into filling out surveys. It's obnoxious, annoying, and rude.

But if you stick around and make friends, it should be fine.
