Do you really think it's the best way to learn coding? Because I'm learning python at the moment and I want the best way to do it that will keep me interested.

I doubt it's the best way, but it's still a little help I'd imagine.

I think the toughest thing with programming is the attention it requires. I don't have an attention span, so things bore me very quickly, and although I'd love to one day make games, hell, it's what I'm going to uni for, the means to get there is taxing in the attention department.

I'm the exact same STM. I have a few books I'd like to read but I don't have the attention span I need.

Sound ok, but the best way to learn is from your own creations. Join a programming forum.
And Tristan, I thought there was a bug on my monitor >.<

The attention span is definitely the most difficult thing. I wanted to learn how to code, but I never really did until I had to when I took an introductory programming course in university. Turns out I have a knack for thinking like a computer, it comes rather naturally.

I'll definitely be looking at this later when I have more time.

Programming is more or less advanced problem solving skills intermingled with google-fu and occasionally maths.
Some people are naturally great at it, some people just aren't meant to do it.

(I'm not sure why this is relevant, but I already typed it out...)

Is there anything like this for C and C++?
