Probably going to wait for 8.0.1 for majority of the more annoying bugs to be fixed. Not sure what they are yet... but I'm sure they're there.

I was so close to waiting for the bug update but this demon that sits on my shoulder goaded me on all frickin day so I just had to do it to shut him up :-P

It went from 7hours remaining to 6 hours in the last 30 mins so I am not hopeful at all for an update before bed haha.

Don't even remember what's in the update but apple in their global mindfuck campaign have made me realise I dno what it is or how good or bad, I just need it now!!

hah, fair enough. My only concern is I use my phone for work (need to respond to emails at odd hours sometimes, things like that) so I don't want to install it until everything is for sure kosher.

Ah, see now ur a smart man. I have yet to ascend to those higher levels of humanity. I'll let you know how deadly said bugs are when I actually manage to install it!

As a non iphone user, is that a normal wait time? That's fucking insane.

Yeh, update day speeds are always slower than a one legged drunken hooker whacked out on tranquillisers nailed to a wooden board without any wheels

Seems like they'd invest in a few more servers. It's not like they don't have the money. >.>

I bet they sleep much better at night knowing people have things a little slower and shitter than they could manage.

Meh, paying for hardware and more fiber lines for a once a year occurrence isn't worth imo.

When you're unable to do a software update on the phone, try using iTunes, that method always works when the device options doesn't.
