First, a word of advice, and I mean no disrespect in saying this, but if you're not sure what you want to get, don't be hasty in getting one. Have a little patience and I'm sure something cool will come to you. I was a little hasty in getting mine, and I had to learn to re-love it after a falling out. Wasn't an experience I'd recommend.

Having said that, a storm trooper helmet would be awesome :) and I'm sure if you describe what you want to your tattoo artist they'll be able to add cool things to it and stuff like that.

I've been genuinely considering getting a tat as well lately. I'd need something I could indefinitely commit to tho.

It is definitely something you have to be okay with wearing for the rest of your life.

I have two tattoos planned, not sure when I will be getting them though.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Definitely make sure you are 100% in love with what you get and make sure it is something you cant live without. Do your research, find a great artist who understands and gets you, and make sure you are committed fully to it. I am currently going through the process of getting my one tattoo covered up because I literally hate it. It was a spur of the moment tattoo and I totally regret it. Thankfully I have found a great artist who is confident that she can cover it up and turn it into a beautiful back piece. Cant wait for my sitting appointment.

I'm a Liger.... Want to see my Liger impersonation?

Also remember that anyone who tells you a tattoo has to have some sort of deep meaning is talking bull shit.

And be sure to make some enquiries about the artist. Can't talk for other nations but my first tattoo ended up in a pretty nasty infection. Although the local reputation of the artist was pretty decent.

So I can go ahead and get 'Made In America' tattoed on my ass with a broken condom as the back drop?

Edit: misread that, No it doesn't HAVE to, but you won't regret it if it has a deep meaning to you.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Definitely.

I've seen much much worse in modern art exhibition galleries.

With that sparkling vote of reccomendation, there's no way it's a bad idea!

Maybe I should get a tramp stamp of "yolo" made out of dicks too.
