Ahh, first anime... mine was probably Ronin Warriors. But first time I realized what anime was, it was actually One Piece, which is still my favorite to this day. Got introduced thanks to the American Shonen jump actually. The cover was so colorful, lol.

Headed to the New World... Check my music if you like to hear a nerd rap, lol.

one piece is another one i TRIED to watch, but its at what? like 600 episodes? too long and im sure too crammed with fillers for me.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Dragon Ball, and Zatch Bell were the two biggies for me.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat forever. The problem is we made fishing illegal.

FLCL was probably the first one I watched extensively (all the way through, as it's really short).

I can't seem to remember, I think it was "Hayate No Gotoku" (Hayate The Combat Butler in English). It was hilarious, I loved it. Ever since I started watching more. :P

The first anime I saw that I recognized as anime was Wolf's Rain. I was so obsessed with that show when I was younger.

If not, it'd be Cardcaptors from when I was little. I was obsessed with that one too. I've always wanted her staff... And I drove my parents crazy with that Froggy Mix CD.

Oh gosh, I remember those two. Wolf's Rain and Card Captor Sakura. Childhood indeed.

I was first exposed to the world of anime through the majesty of dragonball, then Dragonball Z shortly after. I can't think of a better start in to anime, I think I was truly blessed.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.
