I just re-watched it. Holy fuck, this is awesome.

I love Cowboy Bebop. That was like the first anime I sat down and devoured. Ein and Faye Valentine are my favs.

I wish it had lasted longer, but I appreciate closure in a series.

100% agree with you.  Although I hate when the series is way too short and it deserves to be longer.... *cough* Level E *cough*

Yeah. Bebop didn't really feel incomplete to me, though.

 

It's sort of the anime version of firefly, except complete (and, imo, a little bit better)

Another thing I will give it props for... the English dub is really well done.

I would say yes. Especially if you liked it.

I like dubs (only if they are well done) because I can pay more attention to what is happening on the screen then my eyes jumping from subtitles to screen action.

Yeah, there are only a few anime where I like the dubbed better than Japanese audio with subtitles. Bebop is definitely one of those. Steve Blum is Spike in my mind. He killed it.

I'm actually really glad I didn't hear about it because I would have been angry until the idea got smashed.

The film was good!

 

Cowboy Bebop is one of my favourites. I'm huge on music and soundtracks and Yoko Kanno did an amazing job on this one, there's so many great songs that can get stuck ni your head so easily. Along with the story, the whole atmosphere and feel of the series really pulls it all together. 

 

I have to say the dub was well done too, I watched it as a dub first, while it was airing on TV at the time. My favourite episode will always be Cowboy Funk, the one with the teddy bomber and the cowboy. I nearly died laughing at that one.
