windows isnt all that bad D: I havent had any problems with my windows 8 . I just hate they force windows 8 down your throat whenever you buy a laptop , they even made it cheaper. they put this new os on everything when its made for tablets not laptops > , <

8 isn't that bad, since I'm running a program that gives it the appearance of 7.

I have a windows partition for gaming, but would abandon it in a heartbeat :/
That being said, you can't really make a gaming machine with anything other than windows...
