This weekend I will throw $50 to Reddit's promoted link program to see what happens. (Should be around 65,000 impressions)
I have the option to target a subreddit, what do you think will get us the best click through rate?

Ohhh, interesting. This is a cool idea. I'd suggest /r/cat_girls, but that probably won't work.
I'll be back.
Edit: So, the only subreddits I subscribe to that would be appropriate are /r/gaming and /r/anime. Maybe /r/nsfwcosplay. I'm curious, what weird subs do our fellow idiots subscribe to?

/r/gaming is obvious I think. /r/anime is also appropriate. Maybe a IT subreddit or techonology subreddit, not exactly sure since I don't really use Reddit.

is there a kinda r/offtopic reddit thing? I don't use reddit but a lot of our members are most frequently active on Everything Else. I think we all have our little niches but we do like to come together and talk about non-nerdy things too.
Ask for my discord/Insta/Tumblr if you want.

There's also /r/DirtyGaming and /r/girlswithglasses. Just sayin'.
Spleen, wha'd you go with?

I actually haven't decided yet.

/r/scifi is something you might want to look at.
But do we really want to attract the people from reddit here >.>
Posted 04 August 2014 - 03:19 PM
Most of the people here are already on reddit. >.>

I went with /r/anime. The first good date available was on the 10th. We'll see how things go.
Posted 04 August 2014 - 07:13 PM
hopefully we attract some more otakus, then.

Let's see, that will be the day DRAMATICmurder, Blade dance,Ao Hara ride,Akagi no Kill, and Weekly Girl's Nozaki will be discussed. I only watch two of those, so I don't know about the others who might be on /r/anime that day.
We should make more anime topis before then. Krys, you're in charge of DRAMATICALmurder because I can't sit through that. Kitty, you watch that Ao Hara ride thing because it's more your speed. Blade dance is full of titties and fighting, so I'll just catch up on that one.

I've already started a Bebop topic.

Well ok I was going to watch Tsuritama but this works too I suppose.

I'll watch nothing but Fairy Tail and Sword Art Online 2 >_>
“Shimatta! Bare… nan no koto kashira?”

So we only got 26 click throughs from that. Time to find something different.

That seems a little anti-climatic -.-
I'm a Liger.... Want to see my Liger impersonation?

Yeah it was.
We get way more traffic from the occasional submitted links.
