An elated owl.

Maybe you can make the game interesting for me.The game's lack of items makes me sad.

Also good to see you're still alive :P

I think the talent system is better overall. Right now a lot of people only build one path and are pretty nazi-esque if you pick a different ult/talent (WOW STITCH U DIDNT GET GORGE?//?? U DONT WANT TO CHEESE PEOPLE BEHIND WALL?/???/) but on some of the better designed trees (nova, gazlowe) you really do have a few different playstyle choices to make.

Yeh, I think my big hangup at this point is there's a large burden of knowledge put on you from the start. While you don't absolutely need to know the skills/trees of every hero, it sure helps. Plus, the first couple times you play a hero, the talent system feels very hectic as far as power spikes. I can't tell if my next level will give me some kinda aa buff or some kinda weird utility.

I think, as with all mobas, I just need to give play it more and get more familiar. I'm having a hard time, tho, when nobody in the free rosters seem familiar/interesting to play.

The first part is just a trait of mobas. I feel like heroes has a much easier learning curve than league or dota 2 or the original dota had. But like you mention a large part of the game is just experience - you're never quite sure when you're going to be strong, when to not fight, when to get this talent over that, etc.

In the rotation right now, brightwing is pretty interesting. His passive is a ticking AoE heal, his q is a targetted AoE burst, w is a polymorph (which is ungodly good), and his e is a basic attack dmg reduction (which is meh). His real factor is though instead of a mount he can teleport to any player every 25 seconds. Gives you a lot of time to split push a lane up with your q then teleport to an objective and save a caught out teammate.

Sgt. Hammer is pretty dope too. She's got a wicked different play style but in the right hands she's one of the most annoying heroes to fight against. After the murkey changes today, maybe the most annoying hero to fight.
