So, I like to play horror games a lot, and cheap jump scares just don't cut it anymore. Anyone know a good horror game that has a good story line, but it still scary? (I already own and have beaten outlast and I own amnesia: the dark decent)
Good horror games?

I have heard good things about Silent Hill 2, and other than that, I am waiting Alien: Isolation

Every Silent Hill game has something great to offer (if you ask me), but most people like the first four.I don't think its story is all that great, but Clocktower (the original Super Famicom game) is supposed to be nice and scary, but I also here that Clocktower 2 (Clocktower 1 in America) is supposed to be good, but not as good as the original. Dead Space was also supposed to be good. Resident Evil 4, but I'm assuming you already played that. The Penumbra series is like Amnesia. Eternal Darkness is supposed to be good.
That's all I can think of right now.

Alone in the Dark: A New Nightmare and Resident Evil 2 are cult classic horror games.

The Fatal Frame series is pretty creepy. Also Forbidden Siren/Siren Blood Curse.

I liked Alan Wake.
It isn't scare your pants off terrifying, but it is pretty creepy in a fear the dark sort of way.
Dead Space was also scary, in a make you jump out of your skin way.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

But Obscure The ftermath was a good one.
And as someone said, Silent Hill is always a safe bet.

I don't generally dabble in horror games. Never been something that appealed to me. Only horror games I've played are Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Slender.

Corpse Party.
or sometimes if I play Don't Starve in a dark room it freaks me out. Sometimes it's all about the atmosphere you play in.

Well, if you have a Gamecube get Eternal Darkness - I loved that Lovecraftian touch the game had. I´d also suggest to look into the Fatal Frame / Project Zero Games

I forgot to say Lone Survivor, that's a real bloody terror and it's got a beautiful art style.
