This topic started a while back and we're now on to a new companion and everything. 11 is my favorite. He's really my first Doctor. He's different because he has to be. He's lost so much and been through so much. A lot of people don't really seem to think about it, all they think is, "Oh. But I loved Tennant and Rose and him just so sad..." but in reality, he has to be different. He has to be goofy and silly and off his rocker. He is coping in a new way. It's a new Doctor, and new Doctors have new personalities and ways of coping with things. He's lost so much and witnessed so much, if you've tried different ways of coping, wouldn't you try to just be silly and cheerful all the time. It's actually a common thing in people, we try to hide the way we truly feel behind being goofy or funny. Some of the saddest people are the ones that seem to be the happiest. And I'm sure it helps that Amy is very .... Bossy? I'm not sure of the right word.
I love 11 and Amy and Rory and River. But now Amy and Rory are gone, and we've got Clara to replace them. We shouldn't feel too distressed about missing Rory cause from what I've seen, Clara takes his place with dying pretty well.
