I realized today that I am a glutton for punishment when I couldn't stop myself from clicking on a post on reddit that showed a husky puppy getting tortured..

I'm going to go cower in the corner and have a good long cry now.

As an owner of many guns, I can tell you it's very tempting to use them sometimes.

I do know that within the past several years shock/gore videos of animal (Particularly puppies) torture out of China has become really, really popular with shock/gore viewers.

On that note, within the past few months, I've been almost attacked by two dogs. >.<

Y'know in China they sell mini tortoises in little packs of herbal fluid, keeping them in an almost vegetative state, the shop keepers tell you that they'll live for up to six months and are hassle free to look after. Makes me want to teach 'em human decency.

As a consumer, you can't be blamed for wanting one, but you have to swallow that and instead channel a sense of greater perspective, that in fact, as much as you might want one, you'd be better off...maybe shooting the entrepreneur who invented them.
