I feel like talking about Game Grumps.

 

I have rants.

 

First of all,

 

Arin turns into a moron around Suzy. Like, not a cute I-love-you, nauseating moron, but a I'm-totally-a-stupid-boy-because-you're-a-girl-and-I'm-not-being-genuine-anymore moron. The difference is astounding. It's actually pissing me off.

 

My other rant is about Jon vs. Danny, and it has nothing to do with nostalgia or stupid crap. I'm really genuinely putting thought into it with references and evidence and examples and such.

 

Grump on.

I had this huge Danny vs Jon rant ready to write from notes on a post-it.

things seem to go off the deep end more with Danny than with Jon. Like when things would get back Jon would always bring it back so it didn't get too bad. But with Arin and Danny there is no one to do that.

 

I like the Steam Rolled (or whatever the one with 4 players is called) more than new Game Grumps right now.

I'm just watching old stuff with Jon 'cause unless they're playing something that resides in my heart (Secret of Mana or any Mario competition game), fuck it. I don't care. Danny makes me fucking crazy. In a bad way.

I don't get why people don't like Danny so much? Could someone explain to me what it is? I mean I know he's not Jon but he's not that bad is he?

He's overly sexual, for one. Jon's like, "LOL, PENIS!" and Danny's like, "Wanna hear about how my tongue felt against this one girl?"

So, that's a problem.

 

Also, Jon and Arin's chemistry is UTTERLY different from Danny and Arin. Jon and Arin build energy and explode and it's hillarious, and (FUCK YOU, SPELLCHECK, I'M PUTTING TWO Ls IN IT) Danny, while fucking funny (seriously, Mickey Mousecapades was fucking hysterical), just doesn't make Arin the explosive ball of screaming wit and insanity that Jon brings out, which relates to my Suzy complaint from above.

 

It's the difference between this: (Jon)

I wanted to use the Mousecapades stuff, but I couldn't find a short clip.

 

See, they're funny as hell, but Jon and Arin had magic.

Game Grumps is awesome, tied for my favorite YouTube channel with the Yogscast main channel (those guys are also awesome.)

 

I actually prefer Danny, as he's in that awesome band Ninja Sex Party. I also like his stories a lot.

 

Wait, you didn't like his "Game Grumps Appropriate Story" story? That made a great Game Grumps Animated!

 

Also, what about the whole D Club shenanigans? That was so hilarious!

Jon is cool, but I just like Danny more. Ninja Sex Party is just so original and epicosity made flesh.

 

Fun fact:  If Jon never left, Danny wouldn't have been able to quit his day job a few months ago.  Game Grumps was able to replace his income and then some.

And, yes, everyone needs to accept that JonTron left. I started watching Game Grumps after that happened (oddly enough, like a week or two after it happened.)  Watched a ton of Game Grumps, like almost all of it, over like a month's time.
