I find this offensive on two fronts...
The first one being that I've actually been raped and to equate a loving sexual act to rape is incredibly offensive.
The second one being having gotten past being raped, I enjoy sex quite a lot and to say that I only think that I enjoy it is also incredibly offensive.

I thought it was hilarious that this woman who considers herself a feminist and writes all these articles about how women are downtrodden and manipulated by men, turns around and essentially says that even when a woman makes the choice to have sex with a man she is being manipulated by him. How off kilter does your view of the world have to be for it to circle back on itself and disprove everything you say.

If it is real it sounds like she went through some bad relationships and just decided that her experiences must apply to everyone. The whole thing reaks of slut-shaming.

It's even more off Kilter when I consider what I've been taught about relationships, it is that it is the man is being manipulated by the woman with sexual acts.
Think about it this way... With sex, whether it be with a prostitute or within a relationship, there is an exchange of something. Prostitute it's money, relationship it can be money, gifts, love (etc.). But the female puts a price of her own as to the limit of what ever she is getting out of the exchange to give sexual favours willingly.
With this in mind, I can't see how a man is manipulating a woman for sex, she has it in he own mind what the limit is, he doesn't know, he can't use it to his own advantage and she is allowed to change her mind as to where the limit is.
It's a very dry and methodical way of looking at sexual exchange but it's structure is accurate, even applies to friends with benefits or one night stands, being that the limit is set low and the exchange could be something as simple as sexual experience or pleasure.
