I doodle on my hand a lot too, my parents hated it! I went out to lunch with my dad a couple months ago and he noticed I had a big L on my hand, I said it was to remind me to do laundry when he dropped me off. He told me that's what phones are for. Doesn't stop me from doing it though, haha,

I make lists.
Lists of things I need to do
Lists of things I need to get at the store.
Lists of things I need to bring home from the truck.
Lists of ideas & brainstorms.
Then I forget the lists, usually at home.
And find them later, check through them & critique myself on how many I got right or forgot.
When if I could just remember the f'ing list life would be 100% easier.

Haha I keep a notebook with me and on the pages there aren't crappy doodles, there are to-do lists. I bought an expensive leather filofax and yet I'm still making lists in a $2 notebook.

My entire fucking life story. My mom always tells me "make lists on your phone, in a notebook, or in papers around the house to remind you to do stuff!" The one question she can never answer is "So what will remind me to look at the goddamn papers, notebooks, or even to go find a list in my phone?"

Leafa, my sympathy! My mom started putting up with my reminders and doodles on my hands/wrists after a silly occurence. I was having a tough time remembering to deal with a plant she liked so she jestingly told me to write it on my face. I did. After she got over her shock at seeing my face with "PLANT" written in big bold black sharpie letters across my cheeks and nose, she told me to wash it off before it stained and scolded me roundly for doing such a thing. I still relish the look on her face when she caught sight of me.
Never again has she complained about my hand/wrist art and reminders.

My mom is a lister.

It actually drives me a little nuts because she expects me to make lists too, which I super do not.

She is the highly organised type who can't relax unless her house is clean and there is nothing else to do that day.

I am more of the mental list type with a decent success rate who can sit in a pile of his own filth for a few days before deciding to clean it.

I never make a grocery list.

I remember the two or three things I need, then wing it once I get there and build meals in my head as I gather supplies.

I think I have a trivia addiction.

My neighbor showed me trivia crack and I played it so much the first night I hit level 25..

Also, when I notice our turtle basking I try to silently back out of the room as quick as possible.

The best way I can describe what the process must look like is a shocked frankenstein with both legs asleep trying to maneuver backwards across a mine field.

Tony came over talking about this recently, telling me how much fun it was, and basically forced me to get it and play a game with him.
