Awesome! I hardly can be bothered to match socks in my laundry, I wear mismatched socks too! No one in the professional world will see my socks (hopefully) and my friends think it fits my personality, so why not?
What is something weird that you do?

This is more something weird that happens to me, but I think it's quirky enough to be interesting to share.
I've asked other people if this happens to them, and all I get is a weird look. You know how some people start to salivate as a sign that they're going to puke? I start hearing a random song. Like, it's not like a song that's stuck in your head; I hear it like it's really playing and I can't shut it off. It gets worse and worse until I finally do vomit.

I'm weird, but it is normal to me. Because weird is all I've ever known...

ummm ... I roll a thousand or so metres of cable every month. All kinds of cable, but mostly copper Ethernet, and XLR.
Very exciting stuff. Can't think of anything else.

I incessantly roll/fold/crumple pieces of wire/paper/plastic at a constant if it's near me while I'm on the computer or sitting somewhere and it's just around.
I've only found one other person that does this.
I didn't realize I did it till I saw him doing it too, lol.

I too am of this persuasion.
I have mindlessly gone through an entire pad of post-it notes before realising that I was folding them up in to weird shapes with the help of their sticky side.
I play with pretty much anything I can get my hands on if I'm just sitting about. I have very restless fidgety hands.
Because of this I can twirl pens to some degree of skill, flip coins around my knuckles, and I have trained myself to be mildly ambidextrous by sheer force of will and practice fiddling with everything within my reach (wink).

Echoing the playing with anything that isn't nailed down bit. Whenever I'm not busy at work I'm tossing something around. Earlier tonight I was juggling a roll of duct tape and a pair of scissors, flipping them up behind me and catching them without watching them, etc.
People don't stand too close when I'm like that >_>

Holy shit, I do that all the effing time.
I juggle any three items I can find, and am constantly trying to improve my mind's eye ability to track objects that I toss over my shoulder (sometimes front to back, sometimes back to front). So far I have managed to catch things that I throw over my shoulders with my eyes closed with some regularity, juggled peas, and on the other end of things juggled basketballs.

Now that this thread exists I really notice when I do something "weird" now. Never gave it much thought before.
I hate shaking hands. I will think up any excuse I can to avoid it. I'm not one of those people who freak out about germs and such, but for some odd reason I just think it's super nasty to touch someone's hand. It also doesn't help that this feeling keep getting validated by people I know. A friend of mine works at a bank and, after shaking hands with a client, he saw there was blood on his palm. Yuuuuuuck!

A fair few of the thing that have already been mentioned. I get words confused, I have fake conversations in my head complete with hand gestures and I eat food from least favourite to most favourite.
Also I completely zone out when people are talking to me, it's not intentional, I didn't even realise I was doing it until a couple of years ago when a friend pointed it out. I assume people are really boring.
Occasionally, and this isn't one I do often, I do let the full force of my slightly disturbed mind out just because it's really funny. Most recently I freaked a couple of customers out by discussing my intention to sacrifice a kitten for christmas because I hated to see the old traditions die out, and because I can do this completely dead pan they weren't sure whether I was joking or not.

If I'm bored I'll doodle on my hands with pens or a sharpie, which usually ends up in black lace gloves or some such. I also put fruit on any pizza I get if it doesn't come with pineapple by default - peaches, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon. I just need fruit on my pizza.

I doodle on my hand a lot too, my parents hated it! I went out to lunch with my dad a couple months ago and he noticed I had a big L on my hand, I said it was to remind me to do laundry when he dropped me off. He told me that's what phones are for. Doesn't stop me from doing it though, haha,
