I know, I was really surprised, but yet again I can sort of see that now. We really are the hermit generation. Where I live teen pregnancies are the normality. Mind you I live in the boonies.

Who would of thought that people would now opt for marrying videogame characters and pillows instead of real people. But if it makes people happy then good for them.

To be honest, Japan's population decline may be a good thing. Tokyo easily rivals New York City in a sheer size-to-people ratio. And from a personal standpoint, I'd rather see a decline in young mothers who can't handle it.

Then after you cuddle do you have her go to the kitchen and make you a sandwich?

I've never been to either city before. But I can see your point. Japan does have a high suicide rate. lol But yet again, many young mothers abandon their kids here in NZ. They often hock them off to their parents or relatives. But if i marry a Japanese woman, have kids and she doesn't want them. I would definitely bring them back to NZ and raise them here. I have a strong belief that you should raise your own, you got yourself into it, now you gotta deal with it.

The suicide rate is actually something I intend to look into when I either move or visit. Aokigahara is one of the many places on my list to see.

Fuck yeah. Same. I've always wanted to visit Mount Fuji and the surrounding settlements. I've been reading a lot about their history, traditions, and their culture really intrigues me. I've been eying up Hyogo, simply because my friend lives there. How many times have you been to Japan?

Sadly, never. I need to stockpile money to do so, which was the original plan before I lost my old job and wound up being on the dole. >.>

I feel ya. I'm in the same boat. Spent most of my savings on my trip to America last year. Finding it hard to find another job. But I'm going to settle with any factory work and save every dollar. The way I see it, a means to an end. Persevere the hardship and enjoy the rewards later.

It's okay Japan, you're not alone.
