Getting a castle is an assload of work, but I've started playing with some people in ArcheAge and they're super awesome, so I'm thinking I might play with them on release too. If you guys wanted to join you could too.

 

As for the releasae date there's been a lot of talk about mid September, and then other people are saying December, so we'll have to see.

Nah for real, the guild is open to everyone, it's a really small guild anyway so the more members would be awesome.

I'd play it, but I have no intention of paying the extortionate prices they demand for what is effectively an alpha. Once it's F2P I'll probably test it out. I always enjoy challenging MMOs.

Only reason I payed is because I wanted to support the game. I've been following it for a looong time now and I couldn't wait any longer either. >.> imo, totally worth the price.

Wait sorry idk if you already talked about this but is arch age pay 2 win? or is everything f2p? and do people who pay for stuff get better stuff? or is everything you pay for with real money just like cosmetic stuff?

As i understood it yes, you can only buy cosmetic armor etc. Everything else you need to know is on their official site.

The game isn't pay to win in the slightest, there's no armor or weapons you can buy, there's just a few cosmetics and then some potions that do various things.

You can buy faster gliders from the cash shop, like the one I'm using, but that doesn't make you op at all. It actually doesn't do anything except let you travel faster.

We have a small fleet. There's roughly 4 other people that also have boats, so we can now effectively go raiding. We also stole a galleon yesterday. >.> Much fun.
