That's one of AA's bugs. A solution that worked for me was to go to document > ArcheAge and then delete the udf folder. Then just launch and play the game. Should work.

 

Oh, also ArcheAge refuses to work if you have the Avast firewall on your computer.

I deleted udf and it still wont work. what do I do to the firewall?

If you have Avast you're gonna have to get a different firewall because AA won't work with it. Make sure you have AA set to go through your firewall.

Ok so I deleted udf and allowed ArcheAge.exe through my firwall and there are no improvements. :c

Your best bet is to just do some Googling, there are a lot of different solutions.
