I am looking for more supernaturally animes like "Diabolik Lovers" or "Ghost Hunt." or even (lots of contravercy in my friends about this one) "Elfen Lied." something with a little edge but not super gory (Exception of "Elfen Lied"). Any suggestions? I am trying "Steins; Gate" (as suggested by a lovely app on my phone) after I have already watched "Chaos; Head."   Any ideas would be welcome. (Maybe links if you have them *COUGH COUGH*     *nudge nudge* )

A ghost-ish kind of anime would be Mushi-Shi. I haven't seen the whole thing but from what I did watch it was pretty good.

They actually made an anime of the TV series supernatural. It is definitely supernaturally and they hunt ghosts.

Not sure if this is going to be a hit, but I just remembered something I watched years ago. It is called Loki Ragnarok, or Matantei Loki Ragnarok.

 

So this is a DUBBED video trailer, but there sure is original japanese speech out there somewhere.

 

Possibly more about mythical gods than supernatural, but hey.. hope it helps~

'Another' was a supernatural horror anime, I thought it was pretty good.

 

Kokoro Connect also has supernatural elements to it. It's about a group of high schoolers who suddenly start to switch bodies without notice for a limited amount of time. This happens on a random basis for a random amount of time. Awkward moments and lots of drama ensue. I really enjoyed it.

 

Angel Beats is a really good show, I really recommend it. Actually I kind of want to rewatch it now that I mentioned it. I can't really sum it up myself so here's the synopsis from ANN:

 

"In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers."
