I plan on getting a top hat eventually, Maybe some awesome steampunk type of jacket, if I ever live somewhere cold enough to need it. >.> I've seem some pretty badass looking cuff links too.
For now though, I generally just wear shirts with references that no one gets.

Latex dresses, knee high/thigh high boots, military style jackets, face masks/gas masks, goggles with different lenses to them/spikes on them, vampire fangs.

You can totally get away with military style jackets, at least. And maybe even the goggles. I've done both, in fact. =P
Latex dresses would certainly make you stand out, though. XD
Honestly, I like wearing things that look out of place.

You'd look mighty classy in a top hat. =P
Wearing jackets is one of my favorite things about living in cold places.

And I like the texture a lot.
And I have a soft-spot for gothic wear.

Where did you find a picture of me?!
Stares never hurt anyone, unlike their evil twin, stairs. Just wear what you want and don't worry about people, it'll make the world a more creative place.fur anything, millions of pockets on your pants, spike boots (they come in handy with male muggers), latex gloves in public, and weird hair-dos (wish i could pull them off) every time i try any of the above, people stare at me like i just escaped from the local psych ward and i can only stand it for so long until i go back to looking normal
