Hi all, 

I thought the comic book section may be the place to post this, but I could be off. This is all about speculation.  I just have a simple question. If you were a super villain what would your plot be? What is the driving force and goal of your neer-do-well activities?

 

If I was a super villain I would go for the classic. Destroy the earth. Simple in concept, but rather complicated in execution. My plan would revolve around the moon. i would either want to draw it into Earth or just blow it up.  Drawing it into earth will have an obvious cataclysmic effect.   Blowing it up would probably cause a lot of smaller impacts to Earth, but the end of tidal forces would slowly kill off sea life, and likely cause  a slow  burning doom to the planet. Actually the tidal forces may play a role in keeping the magma of our planet flowing, but i would need to ask a real scientist about that.

 

So that's my megalomaniacal evil plot. What is yours?

I would recruit an army of orphans (because their loyalty can be undying) and I would train the lot up and it would be a very subtle operation that would include infiltrating world powers with the intention of discovering evil people and punishing them. As inevitably happens with masterminds who think in this vein, the lines become blurred, good and evil cross, and I will need to be stopped by a hero who believes in the foolishness of free will.

Being one of the hated ones in school (read: I was bullied constantly) I went mad in my late teens, and began an elaborate revenge plot on those who wronged me. My madness deepened, and eventually the world became the embodiment of those bullies.

 

I'd probably become a scientist and try to create a super-soldier serum that gives me complete control over the minds of others, in addition to massively increasing things like physical strength, reaction times, healing etc.

My friend and I actually made comic books about ourselves back in the day. He would always be the super hero and I would be the villain.

 

In a sense I didn't have any powers, but I was super intelligent. (Much like in real life hahaha)

 

I could build virtually anything (robots, suited amour etc.) and I built a machine that would extract people intelligence leaving them old, deformed and mutilated in the process. 

 

In the end I thought that the human race was not worthy of possessing a mind of their own (because of war, corruption and hatred) and needed to be "cleansed" by reducing their minds to that of monkeys. I sought to create a new race of super intelligent beings in my image. Of course my plans we're thwarted by my friends character who froze me for eternity by sacrificing and killing himself in the process thus concluding our series.

I'd go down the world dictator route, run my own international dystopia, surrounding myself with delegates scrambling for power with each other whilst allowing me to see clearly above the canopy. Every now and then I'd instigate a purge with the army, promising my generals who remained loyal power, wealth, fortune, boobies.

Ha! I like the concept of a MODOK super chair.  I'd be all for being the hands off behind the scenes mastermind.  Have minions or robots do all the heavy lifting and drilling.  

 

Rob- that sounds like a great comic.

 

 

Голгофа -- RE5 was enjoyable...after you beat it once and had Chris be the AI.  Mercenaries mode, though, THAT was like crack to me.

Completely control one major city to the point that nobody wants to fuck with me.  Just say one city is all I want and let me be.  I'd have complete invulnerability and the ability to fly.  No one would be able to touch me.

 

I'd even give the city a punny name.

 

I'd be ruthless but benevolent to my subjects.

I would instigate political/economical subterfuge to bend everyone in the world to my will.

You can fight a dictator, even kill him.

What you can't fight, can't stop without undoing history over centuries of reparation, is a self destructing world government.

But I'd be completely invulnerable.  A nuke to my face wouldn't kill me or even leave a scratch. You'd just kill millions of innocent people.
