dude, you don't need that. You can kill people the legal way, by paying your taxes.

If I was to kill someone, I've got plenty of guns and explosives. >.>

Or you could use a pistol and then use the knife as a tactical knife.

If I shot someone with a pistol, they'd be dead before I was close enough to use a knife. >.>

I've got the basic grind down, now I'm cleaning it up with a hand file. The problem is the metal had to be annealed before the file would even cut it, so this is turning into some serious work.

Haha, I suppose.
I'm going to try and order the wood next weekend, and hopefully make the bolster as well.

I've got some other things to do first, but at some point in the not too far off future I'll have that ability.

So when you polish the blade is it still going to have the pattern that was on the metal?

I bet yall thought I forgot about this!
(well I kinda did.)
Here's the blade in it's current state. Been doing a lot of file work trying to level and straiten the bevel. The problem? It's rated about the same rockwell as my files. >.>

I didn't forget, and have been waiting until I get my own house to start making some of my own knives as well.
So far yours is looking pretty decent, I can't wait to see what you do for a handle.

or West African Ebony https://www.gilmerwo...es=Ebony&CID=38
If I'm feeling extra peppy I might do silver leafing on it.

That's what she said.
But yes, that is my preference between the two as well.
