Nicely done, I'd love to do weapon smithing, it'd be so cool to make interesting patterned weapons.
Because I can...

You have a hole in your steps.
I bet you can hide things in there.

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. I want to do a suit of armor next.

I tried to crack a geode on them.
I want one what looks like this >.>
nice job though. you'de better post pictures when it's done
Isn't it an awesome pattern?
I will. It's going to rain today, but I'll probably have the other side of the blade roughed out next weekend and start on the finish work. Then it's the handle and such.

how did you make it? how long has it been? Great job btw
Honestly, I'm kinda cheating on this one, I haven't used my forge once. I got a piece of bar stock off amazon with the right pattern, cut out the basic curve with a band saw, and I've done everything else with a bench grinder and a beastly bench sander.
We can make one.
But can you keep it fueled? >.>
this looks awesome, nice job
Thank you.

I'm allergic to sulfur. Charcoal's where it's at, preferably made from a good dense wood like oak.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I can't be the only one interested by this >w>
Can't remember if he ever got that particular one open actually.

So how exactly did you manage to smash the geode through the concrete steps?
Posted 04 March 2014 - 12:05 PM
With a sledge hammer.
Posted 04 March 2014 - 12:05 PM
Shoulda known.
Posted 04 March 2014 - 12:07 PM
Did you expect some overly complex contraption?

I was hoping for a cool story. So yes.
