I never played the games, so I have no idea how good/bad this is in regards to them.  =P  That said, the animation looks nice!

I just got one of the games, so soon I will be an expert and will be able to tell you if it sucks or not.

As a very devoted fan since middle school-ish, I am UTTERLY disappointed.

 

This style does NOTHING for me, and effectively destroys everything I love about them as characters. The writing for them is childish, demeaning and just lame.

 

I believe that I will be THOROUGHLY IGNORING the further existance of this henceforth.

 

I am not happy. In fact, I think I am mildly nauseated.
