Are you in a pretty non-snow state?

It depends on the year. Sometimes we get feet of snow and sometimes we get none.

This year I think it will be a lot, at least I hope.

Yep. About an hour ago I went into the woods after a lynx, the snow was past my ribs. I didn't get far.

Where's that?

Barrie is in Ontario, kind of near Toronto.

It isn't super North, but it is not uncommon for some winters to bring enough snow to reach the rooftops and bury houses.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

It happens in some places here.

Ontario is sort of unique in that we get wicked cold terrible winters, and amazingly hot swamp ass summers.

Its at about the same latitude as where I live so it probably gets about the same weather. Cold winters and pretty hot summers.

^New Hampshire in a nutshell. I figure that's why we live so long.
