Your new cells are a genetic copy of your former cells(yes yes slight chance for some minor mutation blah blah blah) so you are still meeting a genetic copy of yourself.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Question: in seven years every cell in your body has been replaced. So, in what way - if I went back 10 years - am I actually meeting myself? I'm not the same person by means of life experience, phiilosophy, maturity, or accomplishments & I'm not the same person at a cellular level.

I mean if there's on one "self", then I could never see myself be born - could I? Would that be two selves in the same room or two occurrences of the same self? (assuming the selves to actually be the same)

Just curious.

It never made any sense to me either, I just go along with it so Doctor Who fans don't kill me in my sleep. Getting down to it, time travel can't happen in ways where you could meet yourself. The idea that we can walk into a box, press a button, and then end up in the time we selected is implausible. There are ways of time travel, but they aren't as efficient or comprehensible as the classic concept.

Yeah, but in the above case, you would be meeting your previous self. You would share the same experiences, memories, thinking up to a point. It would still be you, just not the you of your present. Just like that 10-year-old would be meeting himself, but not. See, that I understand.

In general, in terms of time-travel, I subscribe to the theory of linear/cyclical. If I'm not walking in the door this very moment while I'm typing this, then I'm bloody well not going to get in a time machine and do it then.

UNLESS that time machine is then a dimension machine, as stated before. But then, one isn't traversing time so-to-speak, but worlds, in the case of infinite reality, yadda yadda yadda.

Video game, movie, TV show, band, album, sandwich, it really doesn't matter. It's a good title for anything.

False. Nothing transcends Morgan Freeman.

What do you think: bacon, thinly-sliced melon, pastrami and mustard?

All of those ingredients would work, but if we can't use bacon that transcends Morgan Freeman, we will use Morgan Freeman in the sandwich. The meat in the sandwich is made of Morgan Freeman.

I don't think Ambrosia was literally made from the Gods.

But hey! Never hurts to try!

And this is why we make a good team.

That's what she said.

Have you been slacking? I've been trying for a year to get the rights to clone Morgan Freeman.

I've also come to the conclusion that all of the ingredients except for the bread must soak in loli tears for a millennium.

I can provide the loli tears.

i agree with bowsette, unless he is engaging in relationships with the children at the time they are children he is ok.  one adult and another adult.  could get a bit weird but still no chris hanson chasing him through time
