Don't worry everyone, I am finally here! Who am I? Well let me tell you a story. 21 years ago a woman gave birth to a baby boy then... nothing of real significants happened for a long time. One day though, on a rather chilly December 6th I joined a forum out of some sort of social need too interact with other people (weird I know), and the prophecy was complete! Thus concludes my life story... at least up until today.

Now for some Q&A:

Q: What is your favorite vessel of nerditude?

A: definitely video games,  and think about the various aspects of them a lot (the history, are games art, what makes a good game, why is Mario such a psychopath).

Q: Quick, list your favorite video game series right now!

A: Zelda is definitely at the very time of my list. I'm also a huge fan of the Metal Gear, Donkey Kong Country, Ace Attorney, Assassin's Creed, Saint's Row, and Smash Bros. Though I've beaten about 300 games so it would take a long time to list all that I like. (I also play League of Legends)

Q: What brings you too this Oasis on the Internet?

A: Well, recently I've found myself stagnet in my social life and was hoping to make a few Internet friends. Maybe some to play games online with, maybe to just chat on Skype about nerdy stuff. In the past I've had far better luck making friends with female gamers, though male gamers also work as long as sexism, racism, or homophobia aren't things you insert into your conversations.

If you are interested in adding me on Skype or Steam send me a message and I'll add you :D

Q: So do you like anything BECIDES video games?

A: I listed my main interests on my profile. I've recently been attempting to slowly learn Japanese and possibly get into anime, however, getting into anime alone is a rather depressing idea so having an anime buddy to watch some with (via Skype or something) or maybe some Japanese learnin together.

Q: Can I stop asking you questions now?

A: no, never.

Q: Forget this, I'm done!

A: That isn't even a question...

Alright I'm done with this silliness, bye for now!

Welcome.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding the friends that you seek here.

We have someone who speaks Japanese, to a degree that I am unsure of.

We also have quite a few male and female gamers.

The male gamers aren't the vulgar types either.

We talk more about sexyism, race cars and homophilia, so you will get quite the opposite of what you expect.

These seems like a very close-nit community, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

If anyone wants to add me on Skype my handle is the same as my username here, (that or you can type in 'nuclear lemming') we can like chat or whatever, though I don't think my girlfriend would approve of any funny business, so maybe stay away from that?

That sentence hurt my tongue and brain, and I didn't even say it out loud.

You have to lay on a thick Jersey accent, or Boston for it to work.

I say it with the same accent and gruffness as the garbage man/construction worker from Futurama.
