Thinking of using this for my next game, looks pretty neat. Anyone here given it a try yet?

I've been wondering about it as well. But I have no prior game development experience what so ever.

Do you currently make games? What engines/frameworks do you use?

They don't give a lot of information on the page. But from what I can see the program seems to function a lot like GameMaker, though hopefully not as simplified.

It would probably make a very good starter program for making iOS games if you are looking to get into that market.

No, not looking to get into that market atm.

Also, its quite a bit different that something like gamemaker. Its just a lightweight js library.

I have worked with canvas and all that, but this might be able to do some of the housekeeping stuff so that I can focus on the more interesting stuff.

I bought impact last monday. Haven't started coding anything yet, just watching some tutorials. I like what I see so far.

I'll come back and post my honest opinion in a few weeks when I actually have something done by it.
