Whats a good one for a starting player?
She likes minecraft and final fantasy and cute cuddly things. >.>
I never really was into pokeman so i have no idea what the differences are.

All of the pokemon games are essentially the same thing, just with slight alterations in what pokemon are available in each area, and they have different things available as newer games come out.. So realistically it doesn't hardly matter which you get.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

My sister said Black/White has the best story, but my favourite generation is Gold/Silver. I have no idea what I'd recommend though.

I've been playing Pokemon X on the 2DS, which has really nice graphics. The story line is a bit predictable, but I won't lie, when I first got it I played for about 8 hours straight :/

Last one I played was Black 2, it was pretty enjoyable. I would recommend this over the original Black because they let you catch new and old Pokemon from the start.

As far as storyline goes, shes eight..so i dont think that will matter much. >.>
