Just the whole setting I really enjoy it. And the idea of tinkerers making such beautiful and cool things. And rayguns and airships. It's just cool, okay?

Steampunk really has become a popular genre in recent years.

I recently bought several books that are apparently pretty decent and take place in a steampunk/zombie universe.

I will read them and get back on here when I am done to let you folks know if they are worth a read.

I have very high hopes.

Steampunk and cyberpunk, my two loves. I saw these fantastic conceptions of what a dalek and cyberman would look like cyberpunk'd once.

Huh, I don't know how I missed replying to this...

Steampunk is something I'm a huge fan of. I like the look of brass and gears, and people do some really neat things with it. On a slightly related note, my safety glasses might fit into a steampunk theme.

Your glasses look like spectacles from the 30's mixed with a little bit of steam punk.

That is fantastic.

Imagine what the Green Goblin is kicking around that universe on.

Or how Mysterio probably has a steam powered dome suit with a handlebar moustache stuck to the front.

The guy has quite a few steampunk redesigns, as well as westerns and such. Pretty awesome.

Those are great Spleen, did you make those?

The minute you put goggles like that on someone they instantly go up a level in attractiveness.

No, they're pretty common shop equipment. You can pick them up at most hardware stores.
