Bit early here, but I'm excited already. Mainly because my tweed coat has arrived. If you don't know what a tweed coat is, it's Matt Smith's coat in Doctor Who (he's the 11th, non-Whovians)
Here you can post Halloween costume ideas, pictures, etc.
You can see my 11th Doctor costume here
Because it's a photo taken off of my facebook account, I couldn't post the picture itself, only a link.
By the way, I'm considering dying my hair brown and growing it out/getting a wig, so it's really realistic. I'd prefer a wig because it's easier, you just put it on.
(Last year I went as Link, shield, sword and all, and the year before I went as my Minecraft skin: a creeper in a suit, the year before THAT I was Luke Skywalker, so I've been doing nerdy costumes as long as I can remember xD)

I dressed up  as a gothic lolita catgirl.

Not sure what I'll do this year, if anything.

This year I'm probably going to dress up as a messy college student.

Last year I was a code monkey. I'm not sure what I'm going to do this year yet.

That's kinda sad, but really awesome that people remember Daria that much.

Last year, I ended up being the UMK III version of Reptile.

This year I was Poison Ivy, except I couldn't wear my costume around school or family. I met Batman, he was kind of a douche at times, but he did an absolutely perfect Christian Bale impression.

This upcoming year, I'm thinking about being either Sailor Venus or Sailor Moon. I would absolutely love to make Sailor Uranus, but I won't cut my hair for anyone. I've also considered the heroine from HM: AWL, or Muffy from the same series. I've always loved Muffy, she's so sweet.

Depending on your hair length, you could be Yaten. ...And have no one recognize you.

True, my hair is to my waist. I could just be blonde Yaten. With shorter hair. So...

FTFY I like to think Christian Bale just walks around in black leather growling, "I'm Batman" to any girl he sees.

Also, be Muffy and carry around a bottle you filled with Kool-Aid. Offer people cherry pink and giggle a lot.

I'm sure he does, I'm sure he does.

I will, and I'll be sure to stand on bridges, talk about my bastard exes a lot and give tomatoes to boys.

Speaking of Harvest Moon, now I kinda want to cosplay Celia. Or Lumina, though that would be a little harder.

I figure any of the Harvest Moon girls would be easy enough. It's just normal clothes, right? They all look like they're wearing stuff they bought from the Oleson's general store from Little House. Then again, I don't know squat about cosplay.

Wouldn't you?

All day, every day. Hell, when I wear my Adam West Batman hoodie I add 'bat' as an adjative to normal items. "Robin, hand me those bat-cookies."

The hair would be the main problem. Celia would be easiest for me because I have brown hair to begin with. Could do with lightening it somewhat though >.>

I'm currently working on a cosplay of Morgiana, from Magi - Labyrinth of Magic. It's relatively simple. Only problem is she's 4'9

So many jokes waiting here...

Also, not being able to wear it around polite company is how you know it was a good costume.

Exactly! Why does everyone think that dressing as a Black Hitler is wrong?!
