The whole show got weird as soon as they veered from the plotline of the comics.
And sad, it got very sad for me.

I cannot watch any more of The Walking Dead because of this. The show is terrible in comparison, in my opinion. I have read all of the comics, and I just shudder whenever someone talks about The Walking Dead. It is like... you are missing so much. You have no idea how awesome it really is.

I treat the show and comic as two different realities. It's easier to do that now that there are some massive differences between the two, but yeah, I still love the comic more.

The comic didn't have to hold anything back.
Television on the other hand has far too many restrictions on what it can depict to the world.
I don't think that helps the show in any way, they can't really go into a lot of the grissley details that the comic does because it would all be way, waaaay to graphic and intensely grotesque for television.

They need to have a few channels that are completely uncensored and can air whatever they please.
If not on television make it an website that can air any content and create a few shows that are limited to there, but go at it like a major prime time television series.

Oh I dunno, they've killed kids and pregnant women, discussed themes such as racism and touched on the prospect of women being used to breed like cattle (Casio, anyone?) It's not a bad show, it's won a fuck tonne of awards and it's one of the highest watched shows of all time in the US, the fact that the story diverges from the comics so much means you shouldn't compare the two but treat the as separate. The Walking Dead is second favourite TV series, I've not read the comics because they're really quite expensive and comics don't really captivate me like film or books. All I'm saying really is it isn't a bad show.

So much awesome crap happened that I almost peed! FIrst off, how the hell can Andrea stand by the Governor at this point?!? Yes, he is sexy but still! And my chick, Michonne, so glad she's hooking up with the prison gang! Also, I think there is a one black guy at a time rule on here because as soon as a new black dude is introduced, the current black dude gets killed off...conspiracy.

I wasn't fond of the TV show into Season 2 being a reader of the comic. They do change a lot of the original story. I decided to look at it a different way though, this way, the story could be new to me as well. I'm enjoying it very much now. Can't wait for February 10th! I haven't read any comics much past issue 90-91ish. Big fan.
