I feel like now is the perfect time to tell you all that I'm a brony, I believe a few of you others are too. I don't care what you say but Twilight is the best.

I'm not being serious.  I've seen the MLP stuff EVERYWHERE online, and I'd probably be totally into it if I let myself start.

It's really not as childish as people say it is. I thought it was humorous and had an interesting enough story line that made it good.

I found the same thing with "Medabots." I was expecting something stupid, and it ended up being a rather deep, existential story for a single episode. I was impressed.

I love how you said that, and you have that animal crossing avatar that's always happy. So the mix was rather humorous.

It is childish.

Its a cartoon about bloody rainbow coloured ponies based on dolls for little girls.

Childish is sort of the whole idea behind it.

 

Not to belittle what you like or anything, but if you like the thing just like the thing.

It doesn't need to be justified to us for you to partake.

 

Also, I watched Medabots when I was younger.

It fell well within the range of anime that was aimed at kids, but was not light on the heartfelt moments of comradery and woe.

That being said, I wonder how many friends and family members of bronies question their child/friend's sexuality when they see them watching my little pony stuff, and how many just assume that they are stoned off their ass and move on.

This is true. But my friends and family know me and they know I'm just kind of weird and crazy so I know they don't question me. But idk about how other people are judged..
