I've seen that! \o/ !! I have I have!
Cardcaptors was a weird and short-lived series in America. Yu-Gi-Oh! filled and continues to fill our thirst for card-themed anime.
Card games on motorcycles! Card games on motorcycles? Card game on motorcycles.

Card games... In space! (I think that's what the new Yu-Gi-Oh! does.)
Cardcaptors' niche got filled by Yu-Gi-Oh! and, for a short time anyway, Zatch Bell (which didn't last long because Jimmy Neutron did the voice of the main summonable cherub.)

Yu Yu Hakusho. Anyone else interested in that show?
Posted 29 March 2014 - 08:56 PM
I was, but lost interest.
Yusuke is a fairly interesting character, but I was way more interested in Hiei and Kurama.

Same, but also Saint Seiya (I made armor out of paper, my family was close to sending me to a specialist), Dragon Ball and Slayers.
Though I must say, even now when I watch the ending of Digimon first season I get teary-eyed. The nostalgia ... It was much a better show for me than Pokemon, more grown-up and exciting. Maytbe because it actually felt like Anime not a cartoon for kids.

If I were mean I would mock the lack of comma before my name. Sorry either way.

Really, there's no need to apologize.
I was hardly serious about it! ^^

As a kid, I was obsessed with Sailor Moon and Ranma 1/2. I still have almost all the Sailor Moon episodes fansubbed on VHS... because when I was a kid... that's how they came. ![]()

Out of curiosity: fansubbed or like, company subbed?

Attack on Titan is now my favorite anime, although I can sum it up in two words.

Fansubbed.

How... How did...
Fansubbing on VHS as a concept first of all is making my head hurt, and that's how you got them?
I, what?
HOW.
What is this witchcraft?!
When the internet was still a child... late '90s, I searched and found a guy in Florida with a website distributing them upon request. It took a month for him to get them to me, but eventually stopped because it was sapping all his time.
Ahh yes. Old people like myself did weird things. I also used to record songs that characters sang in shows with a tape recorder held up to the T.V. speakers so I had the songs whenever I wanted.
Notably songs from Animaniacs, Super Mario Bros. 3, Whose Line is it Anyway (UK Version)... and other odd and end funny songs that were in shows that I liked.
