Rob, I understand that people don't always make the smartest decisions when confronted with punishment.

I also understand that basically being told that your a a scumbag isn't a small thing to deal with, but playing it off as no big deal isn't the best move.

It sort of makes it seem like you don't care that you made dick choices, not that you are choosing not to be offended by people's opinions of you.

Regardless of what anyone says, or what you think of anything, you need to do that homeless guy a solid.

The next time you are in that area, buy a few sandwiches and a big ass jug of water and go give them to that guy.

Just tell him you owe him a solid and call it a day.

You can't always easily fix who you are as a human being, but you can atleast have 20/20 hindsight with your own shortcomings and put in the effort to ament that.

Look I'm going to tell you what I figured out when I was a freshman in highschool. I know it is bad, and I am kind of a douche myself but not as much as a douche as some people >.>. But, if being yourself is being a douche and when people tell you, you are a douche. You don't say idc what you think or say I know. You say I'm sorry I need to fix that. Like I am slightly a douche bag because I sometimes have these bipolar episodes. Where I am happy the one second and then I change my mind about how I feel and then I flip the nearest table. But I realized it doesn't really matter if you care or not, it matters what other people think about you and you have to get them to care about you. Seriously. It's like oh this person doesn't like me let me fix the problem that is causing him to hate me and try become friends. It's like destroying your enemies by making friends of them. I just think. Wow, know where cares what I think. You have to make it so people like you. It's not about you it's about them.

I too have bipolar episodes but one thing I've always been told is that you should never change who you are. I'm not really hurting anyone (I'm 90% certain that Hobo man is ok) and people are allowed to have their opinions about me. 

 

But I kinda understand where you are coming from and this is probably the most logical thing I've read in this thread.

 

But yeah, I'll 'try' being nicer, but the fact of the matter is that I enjoy who I am, and if people don't like it, well normally I would say "that's their problem"

I only think that way because, well bullies. Also, to me... When people say the world is a bit darker today, or something along those lines. I feel that's the sad truth. I'm afraid of the future. But I also am not because I don't expect anything that bad to happen until I'm very old.

Personally I don't see the world as a dark place, I see it as a playground, where life is meant to be enjoyed. 

 

I too was bullied but I've stayed true to myself. I haven't let my experiences change me in any way.

Hm well regardless if you're going to smoke it's a good idea to know your laws; if nothing else it keeps me from being paranoid and I always have a plan.

For example unless I just bought I don't ever carry a criminalized amount on me so worst case scenario I get a small fine.

But yeah, I was being careless, sometimes I don't even think.

I like to feed the homeless. The other day I fed one a sandwich, a knuckle sandwich!

I for one, love homeless people. I love feeding them, giving them money and smiling at them, even if they don't smile back, throw away the food and just run off with the money. Because eventually, they'll remember that kindness and not feel so alone and might even return that kindness to someone else.
