Anybody else a part of it? If so, I could use a little advice in terms of heroes, cuz all I have to go by is what's the same as LoL, which is more or less the map and the fact that it's a MOBA. Seems like every hero I pick is either too squishy or supposed to be filling some obscure tactical role I'm never familiar with, and I'm a fan of the more straightforward hard to kill champs in League, like Fizz, Gangplank, and Yorick. Plus with all the heroes being free right off the bat in DotA, there's too damn many to choose from at the start and I just end up guessing.

Definitely worth it if you like the original DotA, or even League. Takes a while for them to assign you a beta key though.

nope, dont like it, tried it once when i played warcraft 3. Never played it again. I have to be too much into that game, and i dont believe that they made a seperate game out of it. Too many of them play dota.
