Summoning magic. It's so beautifully overpowered. Why cast a fireball when I can summon the flames of hell themselves?

I think this is a fascinating subject and I am glad you brought this up!

Personally I think that a creation wizard would be amazing. Especially with my imagination, being a green lantern sounds like a very fun way to destroy everything. Making giant zombie dinosaurs...no big deal (as long as you want giant red or blue dinosaurs). Imagine creating a giant pogostick to just leap over the enemy walls! Although after that, a necro wins by far.

Definitely a Conjuring wizard. Like in Skyrim, I'd run around with all my atronacs and wreck stuff.

I could never get behind conjuration.

It always feels to impersonal.

If I am going to play a game, I am going to be in the fray, not standing up on a rock fifty feet away conjuring monsters to fight for me.

So the same follows through to real life.

If magic and wizardry were a real thing, my skills would fall more within the tactile, hands on arts.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Ah, but with the Conjuring magic you can also conjure a sword to allow you to be in the fray along with your minions. So then you have bodyguards in the middle of battle, it's perfect.

The way I play Skyrim, and also the way I would lead my life in a fantasy world scenario, there is never any need for body guards.

Maybe for my enemies.

Thats true, but it never hurts to have a lot of protection.

It does when they are fools and constantly run in front of you while you are casting spells or swinging an axe.

This especially applies to Skyrim.

The amount of times I have clubbed a follower in to submission because they were "helping" me is astounding.

I just like the overall idea of summoning, because it doesn't just have to focus on summoning creatures or anything like that. I'm pretty sure as long as there's a way of accessing it, you can summon it. So you could do stuff like summon tendrils of darkness to tie your enemies down, and then you mount them with a small dagger and slowly peel away their flesh as they scream in agony, and feed it to the tendrils as payment for their aid.

You, madame, are just the right kind of strange that you should write a book.

A detailed, enthralling, kind of sexy book.

I've actually been working on a sort of scifi/fantasy mashup involving futuristic technology, magic, and time travel. Plentiful gore is planned, too.

Easy.

A frost wizard.

Freeze people, create elevators of ice to fly around on while standing still, and stop global warming.

And this is what I would look like:

Except my pinky finger would be normal length.

Everything great feat that mankind has ever accomplished was on the backs of slaves.

The Great Pyramids, the railroads, America.

I am not saying it is a good thing, just that slavery gets shit done.

Just like to point out that the "slaves built the pyramids" theory has been debunked. It is blatantly false.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

That depends on your definition of slavery.

Also, that post was from before I read those articles on the matter.

I would say that though the pyramid builders possibly weren't slaves in the sense that they were tied together, they most likely weren't free citizens.

This is exactly why I never did the battles in Kartia. I just read the story.

In my opinion I favour destruction/fire magic, it would be great at dealing mass amounts of damage to anything in my way
