Ok, so I'm 21, computer science major, amateur computer builder and avid gamer.
I do believe I've done or tried to do everything that qualifies one as a nerd, interest-wise.
Fantasy Literature? Check
Star Wars/Star Trek Marathons? Check
DnD? Not in person(though I've tried) and yes online.
Magic the Gathering? Check
Minecraft? Check

The list continues.

I saw the site searching for Nerd forums, I'm a bit of a loner and I could use some folks to engage with.
Gave the /g/ site over on 4Chan a shot, got treated a bit rough. I'm interested in both teaching what I know and learning about stuff I don't. I was just educated about mechanical keyboards by the fine A-holes at the aforementioned /g/.

Guess that's me, how bout you all?

Welcome.

Your credentials seem to check out.

You should find some stuff to get in to around here with interests like those.

We're not as elitist as /g/, 4chan is just filled with assholes anyway.

Welcome to the forums! :)

I find some of the humor on 4chan to be amusing, but as a rule they are the most pretentious self-important group.
Posted an image of my "Battle Station", was informed that it was shit with no redeeming value.
While not entirely untrue, it was a pretty rude assault on someone simply joining the thread.

Nice, those would be sick sewn onto the arms of one of These.

The sig is just something I chopped together, I'm not quite handy enough with GIMP to do the really cool stuff, so I did a bumper sticker menagerie with a side of dossier.

Edit: OH, they are YOUR patches.... Derp. Nice work, digging the Mandalorian ones as well.
You ought to work up a few using software logos, perhaps the Aperture Science logo.

Aperture science is on my list of things.

It is a massive list of things mind you, with many, many other nerdy things waiting in the wings to be crafted.

Many thanks.

I definitely enjoy making the world a little nerdier, one patch at a time.
