Okay so I found this, my electric guitar has all its strings now so I might upload a cover of some BSC, Led Zep or Nitin Sawhney if I have a moment, =)

At the very least everyone can get a laugh out of my singing. xD

Just got around to listening to this.

Not bad at all.

I also didn't expect your voice to be quite so low.

You also keep your accent in your singing voice, which works in your case.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

Me and my brother made this song, a couple of months ago. Recorded it in both my studio and his studio. Its not finished yet the lyrics aren't done. But well here it is.

Me - Basstrack, all guitartracks, backing vocals

My Brother - Lead vocals, editing and drumtracks and well the rest.

This wasn't as bad as i thought it was guna be. lol

You got that Muse vibe going on with he vocal contrast (high and low). I kinda like it.

The track is mixed very well, no peaks and even the instruments gel well with one another.

Kind of an early 2000 pop rock track with 4 chords lol. The lrics we're slurred a little making it difficult to hear in parts.

Overall I quite enjoyed this track. Very cool way for brothers to bond. Keep up the good work and keep us posted for your official album release ;)

Thanks man, well I have some more tracks, but this was just an experiment, we wanted to do a Hives kinda song, we where pretty drunk at the time of recording so we tried to do a song that was funny to record. No solos just chordriffs. The mixing is not done yet thats why the lrics we're slurred. We have no lyrics really its just same lyrics over and over.

PnS, my first band ever, had it's first appropriate recording back in 2010. Can't find newer ones or the ones of my other projects, so i just found this instrumental version of our song called manipulation. Played the bass guitar in it and was involved in writing it.

So have fun with some old metalcore by teenagers! :)

Ah very nice. The quality is Garage Band demo phase (as I like to call it) You guys seem pretty tight, hardly any muck ups. Would love to hear the version with lyrics.

Do you guys do much gigs? Friends parties? Or do you just jam with friends?

Thanks a lot! We sadly just broke up a few weeks ago. We finished school and are all about to study in different parts of our country.

The lyrics were shouted, and there are some clean parts in the chorus as well. We were kinda known in our hometown and played in public once a month and took part in various BattleOfTheBands.

For now, i'm playing Bass in a Pop-Punk, Blink-like band and am singing in a trance-/deathcore band (similar to The Browning). Will see if i can find some stuff of these. :)

Nice threat btw, there will be hopefully some more sharing their results of music!

Apologies for the late reply as I was on an adventure....

The video for this song is one of the cleverest I've seen in a long time.

The song itself wasn't that amazing, but damn, the video absolutely killed it.

I really like the fact that there is a story going on in the song.

For once the song was actually.... FUNNY!!!!

You oughta be proud of this.

I have subbed you on youtube.

*Ahem* Um . . . I . . . I wrote a song that had every spell in the Harry Potter books. In alphabetical order.

But I haven't quite finished it, so . . . Yeah.

It's sort of weird and makes me remember that I have no friends, and I'm a dork. Good thing this is called "Nerd Forum".

Holy cow! Yes, I have done LOTS AND LOTS of music. Very offensive gangsta thug stuff. ... well... ummm... not quite that.

I was half of the band "Not Quite Normal" and half the band "The A.V. Kids" and also did some demo stuff on my own, but I don't have the best equipment or anything, so my solo stuff are all just odd demos. But my first cd releases were: 1998, 2000, 2002, 2010.

In 2000, my song "Disembodied Body Boy" got some national radio airplay on the Dr. Demento Show (A novelty music show that is now just an internet show, but it started in the '70s.) and I got some local airplay with a couple other songs too. But keep in mind, this was all before the whole Youtube songs pop up all over the place thing.

HOWEVER, obviously I'm not popular for songs or anything, so I'm not the most confident about them, and don't really share them all that often. I can post a couple links to a couple different ones. I really only share them upon request, but it's just for fun. If you guys like 'em, you like 'em, and if not, you don't.

Oh. And I DID post my Dungeons & Dragons song in the Dungeons & Dragons thread.

Most of the Not Quite Normal stuff are song parodies.
The A.V. Kids music is new-wave type.
My recent stuff (recent like... 2 years ago... or so) was keyboardy rap style.
And then yesterday I recorded a similar kind of song for an upcoming live-stream web show that will be starting August 1st. I can't share that yet though because I was asked not to.

Sooo... let's see. I'm most proud of "Dungeons & Dragons" but I already posted that one.

Here are some Not Quite Normal solo songs. My brother stopped doing music, so these were all by me. They're parodies recorded in 2010.

I'm No Twilight Guy (Parody of Tik Tok by Ke$ha)

AC/DC (Parody of Maji Bomber by Berryz Koubou... it's a J-pop parody using just weird wordplay)

Here are a couple VERY OLD songs we did as "Not Quite Normal"

Disembodied Body Boy: (We were 16 when this was recorded) (My twin was lead vocals.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mkDm8m-pBw

Pretty Fly (For a Fry Guy): Parody of "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" by The Offspring (My twin was lead vocals here too.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZNfUNivxTA

Here are a couple that we did as "The A.V. Kids" We were 20 when we recorded these.

The Song I Wrote While Looking at Pictures of my Ex-Girlfriend (Lyrics/Lead vocals by my brother. Music/Background vocals: Me.)

I want to point out something: There's a line that sounds like it's homophobic. It's not. It's just about Rosie O'Donnell.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8I0JBJeG9Jc

Fast Food Freddy: (I did this entire song. Music, lyrics, vocals, etc.) It's actually quite serious despite how it sounds. It's about being not following your dreams and how miserable it makes a person. (The mixing is also a little off.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bbcv2TPtPhw

What Should I Scooby Dooby Doo? (Lead vocals/Lyrics: My brother. Music/BG Vocals: Me. I tried to make it sound like the chase songs from Scooby Doo.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-wOfhEUApE

Here are some of the recent solo demos from my 4-track mixer and poor equipment.

Kung Fu

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jl_oCrHyW14

David Bruce
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APpviagSPUs

BUT ANYWAY. Those are a bunch of my songs. I have four albums worth... plus a lot of just... odd demos. I hope someone enjoys. I don't normally share these, so I don't expect the best comments, but if you like'em that's great. I quit doing music 2 years ago.

Back when I was in high school I played around with FruityLoops Studio 8 and 9 a little bit, made one or two songs. I never uploaded them anywhere and unfortunately the Hard drive I had them on died.

You quit 2 years ago? That's roughly when I started lol

I listened to a few of your songs on Youtube.

My fav song was your D&D/Chingy Holiday inn Parody. You actually have really good flow. There was also another song from 2002 that sounded pretty good (quality wise) But I can't remember what it was called :S

I couldn't help but think that your youtube would be hella pumping if you had made a video clip for each of your songs. For example that Ke$ha song about Edward I think? Would have raked in a few hits when that song was popular if it had a nice clip with you dancing in it. lol

You kind of remind me of 'TryhardNinja' you have the same rapping voice as he does. (That's a compliment btw)

And the quality of most of your songs are pretty good. You obviously know how to mix and pan your vocals to suit.

My advice. KEEP GOING!!!!! Make music videos!!!!! Post on youtube.

That is all.

SICK!!!!! Looks really dope (not to mention expensive) Would be super awesome to hook it up to the computer and have a jam.

I too do music as a hobby (more like a distraction to appease my mind out of boredom so I don't do anything reckless)

It's really good for the confidence and encourages me to become more social and interact with humans.

There are many benefits of music and I applaud you. Do you have any material available online or are you just starting out?
