Anyone else addicted to this e-crack?

For those of you who have never heard of it, it's a Music and Rhythm game for PC with tooooooooons of downloadable song packs [~200 official packs to be precise]. Unfortunately if you don't have a taste for weaboo/anime music, there won't be much for you here [but I've been surprised by the selections before]

[dont mind the horrendous graphics, that was the older osu build. it looks much nicer now]

It's good fun, just be warned: they cater to both the casual tier and the god tier

The same way I play guitar hero on expert and confuse people watching as to how my fingers do the things that they do.

They just do.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

>.> mildly jealous. I am not BAD at guitar hero. I can play all songs on hard and some on expert. That said some of the songs on expert are too damned fast for me, well that or i need to sit down and play til im good at it like i did with ddr. Of course I make up for it by being a god at ddr >.>

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Last year, I played osu! like crazy. I had a pen tablet so I was able to get really good at it. Its ridiculously addicting.

They released an iOS version which I don't enjoy so much, solely because all the content is made by the developers and any songs other than the sample ones cost money, so there is very little variety to the music. The android version has access to all the songs that the PC version does, so I still play it occasionally. What I like best about osu is the variety of the songs and the sheer amount of them since users can submit their own maps. I could play a happy go lucky anime song and play a pirate metal song right after, haha.

It seems all the high level players use pen tablet. I really want one, but I'm way too poor to afford one

and yeah, the variety for the game is what makes it, it'de be silly to restrict the songs

[new to forums]
anyways,

Osu! is pretty easy to get used to, you just have to work your way from slower songs to faster songs, will post a link when i get home of something im just now getting to be able to play, [Been playing for about 2 years now with constant on and offs due to other games and whatnot.]
