Sup people.

Does anyone else watch wrestling?

WWE? TNA IMPACT? CZW? INDIE CIRCUIT? JAPAN PRO WRESTLING?

I watch Raw and sometimes Smackdown. Currently watching TNA Impact atm.

I've been a big fan of Shawn Michaels since his mullet days.

I decided to create this thread in anticipation for Wrestlemania 29 in a few days.

Share your thoughts whether it's about the video games, heck, even if you hate wrestling, post your thought below....

OK BYE

I avoid wrestling at any cost.

Any, cost.

Its cheese annoys me, but that isn't it.

I loathe when people take it so seriously that they feel the need to prove it's authenticity at every turn.

Wrestling is a show, that is all.

Fantastic athletes abound yes, but that is the only impressive part.

Hahaha I don't usually immerse myself in the storylines. I just like it when people hurt themselves!!!!

CZW is far from a soap opera, it's human brutality :)

Thanks for your input

Just Kaiju Big Battle every now and then.

I can't wait for the interdivisional title match between Many Tentacled Oni and Ari-chan the innocent schoolgirl.

Wrestling would be cool if they weren't such pansies, for the most part. It's wonderfully-choreographed, but that's just it. It's not all that different to dancing, and to be honest I hate watching people dance. I prefer to dance myself.

I'd bet putting most wrestlers up against any accomplished martial artist, or even boxer, would make them shit bricks.

Funny you should say that. Brock Lesnar is in the WWE atm straight out of the UFC. (Real Fighting) and he's on a bit of a losing streak. Hahaha In reality he would fuck up and fool in the WWE.

I would say that I enjoy watching people dance (hip-hop RnB type of shit) but when wrestlers pull off fake a$$ looking moves... well that draws the line!!!!

Lesner went back to the WWE because he wasn't cut out for the UFC any more.

He got sick a while back, some stomach disease that basically eroded his insides.

Which made him suffer in the training department, and his ability to effectively fight.

Then he got his head kicked in by an equally large gorilla of a man (who is most definitely all jacked full of steroids).

So he cut his loses and went back to what he could casually do and still make a living, wrestling.

He came from the WWE, and happens to be one of the toughest human beings alive.

So it is quite possible that there are others in there that can hold their own in an actual fight, but until they do, they are just actors in spandex.

I grew up admiring wrestlers, wishing to be one of them.

It was a childhood dream. The main reason I got into martial arts.

I have a few favourite wrestlers. I like Mick Foley because he doesn't look like a wrestler and he's very imaginative.

Also he did an elbow drop off the top of a cage.

Hulkster of course.

Shawn Michaels.

The lionheart turned y2j - chris jericho

konnan

steiner bros

wolfpac - kevin nash, sean waltman, scott hall. Poor, poor scott hall.

ddp and jake the snake.

sting

hacksaw jim duggan.

randy savage.

big show

andre the giant

curt hennig

eddie guerrero

chris benoit

british bulldog

bret hart

and many more...

Word, you seem like a 90's era dude.

I watched a fair bit of WCW at the height of Hogan and the NWO success.

I really liked how Sting would always defy the NWO, and recruit DDP, Randy Savage and Billy Kidman to take them on.

I also liked the Wolfpac era, (I still got their theme song on my computer somewhere lol)

My top 5 we're....

Sting

Goldbeg

DDP

Booker T

Dean Malenko

Good childhood memories ;')

I like Andre The Giant, because of Princess Bride and the fact that he was a drunken French giant in his free time.

Anyone catch Hell in a Cell last night?

No but I saw that Alberto Del Rio returned. That was a pleasant surprise.
